First designed by two Frenchmen, Mayer and Delforge in 1852. Through many changes and improvements, in 1958, Faliero Bondanini was the one who patented his own version of the French Press, After that, this type of vase began to be mass produced and became known to the world. The French Press coffee maker has a fairly simple structure in the form of a narrow cylindrical cup with a body made from transparent heat-resistant glass and a lid made from metal or plastic. Inside the jar is a piston made from stainless steel wrapped with a steel spring to fit tightly into the glass cylinder. The steel filter has tiny eyes to filter coffee. A French Press is often used to brew ground coffee in a slightly coarse form. After being put into the pot, the coffee will be soaked in boiling water for about 2 - 4 minutes. After pressing the piston, the coffee will be compressed and the grounds will be separated to the bottom. When pouring coffee, these grounds will not fall into the cup, ensuring a more delicious and "smooth" cup of coffee. French Press integrates many features from making coffee, creating foam to froth milk to create artistic cappuccinos or lattes. When brewed with a French Press, the coffee is mixed with hot water in the same cup, allowing it to freely expand, release its flavor, and fully sublimate its flavor in 4 - 5 minutes of mixing with the water.
