The Chinese conical hat was made of bamboo in 1900. The coffee picking and collecting work requires workers to be in good health, especially when working outside in the hot sun, the workers need to equip themselves with sun hats. This hat was worn by Chinese people to pick tea grown a lot in the land of Pu'er, which is the capital of tea growing. This town is surrounded by tea plantations in the hills. It is quite close to the border with Laos and is the birthplace of the most quintessential kinds of Chinese tea. The climate of Pu'er is also very suitable for coffee. Yunnan’s coffee accounts for 95% of China's coffee production. And this region’s coffee accounts for half of the province's coffee production.
The coffee tree was brought to this country by French missionaries for personal consumption. Meanwhile, the official commercial coffee started officially 30 years ago.
Pu'er is located in the highlands and the sun is unusually hot. It is very necessary to provide work protection for gardeners, but today these simple and rudimentary tools are no longer used by the Chinese people.
