Coffee grinding set, made of wood, around 1800 from Ethiopia. The grinding set has a simple design: an arc base, inside the bottom there is a zinc piece with thin holes to create friction when grinding coffee, in the middle there is a short wooden bar across, in the middle of the horizontal bar there is a tall wooden handle to hold the coffee. Use your hands to rub and grind until the coffee is smooth. This grinder only grinds a maximum of 200 grams of roasted green coffee, grinding time takes 15 minutes.
Today, in Ethiopia it is still used when performing coffee rituals. Coffee grinding set exudes simplicity but is not monotonous, the roughness of the wooden stick used to grind coffee into fine powder, like the rhythm, solidity, strength and serenity of married life, of the spiritual harmony between heaven, earth and humans since ancient times.
