The frame and lasso are specialized for transporting bags of coffee after harvesting. In the old days, in the Kaffa land of Ethiopia, they used to rely on camel strength to transport goods, not only coffee but also many other goods. The lasso set is made of wild rope and it is very durable. It is used to tie four corners of a coffee bag which is carried on the sides of camels. Ethiopians used it a lot in the 1800s.
